Canada’s Express Entry Policy changes for 2025: How Indian students and workers will be affected

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will remove additional CRS points for job offers in Express Entry, effective spring 2025. This aims to curb LMIA-related fraud and create a fairer system. Indian applicants, including students transitioning to work permits, may face increased competition, emphasizing education, language skills, and work experience to secure permanent residency.
