Education minister clarifies NEP 2020 doesn’t impose Hindi and promotes education in the mother tongue

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan clarified that the New Education Policy (NEP) will not impose Hindi on states, emphasizing education will be in the mother tongue. This came amid Tamil Nadu’s opposition due to political reasons. CM Stalin argued against the three-language policy, citing translation technology advancements and reduced burden on students.
