UGC Approves Flexible Degree Durations for Undergraduate Students with Accelerated and Extended Programmes

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Accelerated Degree Programmes (ADP) and Extended Degree Programmes (EDP), allowing undergraduate students to shorten or extend their study durations. These flexible options will maintain standard academic requirements while offering tailored credit loads. Degrees earned under ADP or EDP will be equivalent to standard programmes for employment and academics.
